2020 Information

Expectations of TY students

  • Polite, helpful, safe and punctual
  • Setting a good example for our junior years, especially regarding the COVID safety guidelines and rules.
  • Full uniform always (including blazer, excluding jackets/hoody)
  • Open minded about new friendships (no one is allowed to move forms!), new opportunities (say yes!) and new rules (we are all in this together)
  • Always have a device with you, charged and working

TYs First Day Back - Sept 7th

  • Students are to be dressed in full uniform (including blazer, excluding jackets/hoody)
  • Weather dependent, we may have an assembly at some point. However, initially, attend the classroom directly as listed on your timetable and seated by 8.55am
  • Face masks must always be worn indoors (COVID 19 briefing will explain situations where it may be removed)
  • Bring spare facemasks in case you lose/need one.
  • Bring your own hand sanitiser in your bag in case you need it and to reduce movement around the class. There are sanitising stations in all classrooms and at all doors but no harm to have one on your person also.
  • Bring your charged device in a schoolbag, with some paper and pens for your own use. You cannot share resources.
  • The canteen will be operating but it is preorder and collect service. If you prefer, bring your own lunch and lunchbox.
  • Schedule as follows;
    • Period 1: COVID 19 Briefing
    • Period 2: Ice Breakers - Getting to Know Your New Form
    • Period 3: TY Briefing
    • Period 4/5/6: Introduction to subjects and teachers according to timetable
